Vancouver’s Nagashima (Just for Laughs, CBC Comedy, Comedy Central Asia) is one of the most distinct comedic voices around. Born in Tokyo, she relocated to the West Coast several years ago, describing herself as a “non-threatening, sweet Japanese lady.” But don’t be fooled by her seemingly demure demeanor — Yumi is an absolute force on the stage.
In the middle spot is Vancouver’s own Ty Knoll, along with a jam-packed lineup of funny foks from Squamish, the Sea to Sky, and beyond!
Tickets are $20
Doors at 7pm. Show starts at 8pm.
If you’ve been to Big Fat before, you know it’s always a hot ticket, so get there early to snag your preferred seat.
A ticket will also grant you free entry to Trickster’s after party, featuring live band Los Furios, followed with a DJ set by Martini Lounge Project.
