Based in Squamish, Bluesberry Jam Showband delivers high energy, “must get up and dance” blues, rock and R&B covers and originals. The Showband includes a full horn section and backup singers who round out the core guitar-blues/roots/rock band to form a smokin’ hot 11-piece R&B band that packs dance floors wherever they play. Bluesberry Jam has been playing in various iterations since the early 90s, which is a true testament to the camaraderie and musical kinship that holds the band together.
Squamish based singer/songwriter Jess Perkins’s music has largely been inspired by her adventures to remote corners of the globe with a guitar on her back. Jess started off her musical journey playing in a few bands, but over the past years has settled into her own solo routine. Her lyrics paint stories that transport listeners to a new world. She writes about raw personal experiences and the magic and hope exploring the world can give you. Her songwriting style and rich vocals have been compared to Stevie Nicks and Sheryl Crow.
