Poet Next Door: 15th Edition – Winter Wonderings

Hey Squamish! Poet Next Door is back and we are loving our new location – the Trickster’s Hideout, the new jazz club located just off Cleveland Ave.
This round will be all about our Winter Wonderings. The cold tends to bring us in from the outdoors and snuggled up in our beds, alone with our thoughts and often isolated. With this usually comes a plethora of various creatives juices, to keep us from going unhinged from the lack of D. Vitamin D, ya perv.Poet Next Door believes that poetry is a form of self-expression, and a perfect a way to reclaim narratives. The spoken word is a powerful tool for building connections and understanding among communities.
The show will be on Wednesday, December 13 @ 6 PM.
