SUMMARY:Dead Churches with Storm Boy\, Last Reminisced Heroes\, and Bad Luck Charm
DESCRIPTION:Dead Churches are a rock n’ roll band hailing from Vancouver\, Canada. Founded by brothers Devin (guitar\, vocals) and Eric (drums) Kyle\, their unique approach blends the working-class lyricism of Americana and the massive bravado of 00’s rock executed with the intensity of hardcore punk. Despite the burn out and exhaustion incubated from the grinding culture of Vancouver\, Dead Churches have only picked up momentum.\n  \nDC released their debut EP “Fear and Faith” with Producer Tim Creviston (Spiritbox; Misery Signals) on November 7\, 2025. This EP is the triumphant culmination of the pain they’ve overcome. Although it may spark nostalgia it does not linger. These songs shamelessly and aggressively drive through melancholic storytelling. Dead Churches aim to convey emotions through memories you’ve never even had. “Fear and Faith” harkens to a sound you swear you know intimately but are excited to discover for the first time.\n  \nCurrently they are working with producer and friend Steve Bays (Hot Hot Heat; Yukon Blonde) on an EP.\n  \nSimultaneously familiar and fresh\, Dead Churches effortlessly wears many hats under the banner of rock n’ roll. Their influences include: The Killers\, Bruce Springsteen\, Sum 41\, Green Day\, Rancid\, The Lumineers\, My Chemical Romance\, Social Distortion\, Comeback Kid\, Alkaline Trio\, and Gaslight Anthem.

DESCRIPTION:Pastel Blank revolves around the songs and voice of songwriter Angus Watt. It is brought to life by an ever-shifting cast of musicians and recurring collaborators from Montréal\, Vancouver\, and Victoria\, and exists somewhere between a “solo” project and a band. \n  \nExperimentation is cloaked in pop-minded song structure: the sheen and gloss of a disco ball glints off the edges of sharp\, angular post-punk sensibilities. The groove is a morse code stutter; there is funkiness\, but it is tempered by a wide-eyed nervousness\, as if the songs themselves aren’t sure what will happen next. The result is a warped fun house mirror of referentialism: a collage of sounds that are at once familiar and yet also slightly alien in their combination. \n  \nPastel Blank offers an opportunity for catharsis: today’s anxieties become tonight’s \nreason to dance.  \nWith support Nora Kelly Band

Their rocksteady song “One by One” became an international hit when it was played in top ranked TV series Breaking Bad. Their music is a mixture of big beat funk\, dub\, afro music\, pop\, rock\, soul\, and roots reggae/ragga. \nFormed in 1998\, the Black Seeds perform with eight members\, with instruments including vocals\, guitar\, saxophone\, trumpet\, bass\, drums\, bongos\, keyboard and wood block. Black Seeds first album\, Keep On Pushing\, was released 2001 following a number of live performances. Already very successful in New Zealand and popular in Australia\, Europe and North & South America\, their third album Into the Dojo (2007) introduced Black Seeds internationally. They have released seven studio albums\, a live album\, and two remix albums. They have two double-platinum selling albums in New Zealand\, and successful European album releases through the German-based Sonar Kollektiv label. In 2011\, the Black Seeds was described by Rolling Stone as “The best reggae band in the world right now”. \nLead singer Barnaby Weir\, the son of veteran radio broadcaster Dick Weir\, is also associated with the side-projects Fly My Pretties and Flash Harry.[7] Former band member Bret McKenzie is also a member of international comedy duo Flight of the Conchords\, as well as playing the role of Figwit the elf in Peter Jackson‘s The Lord of the Rings. \nThe band released their sixth studio album Fabric in early September 2017. \nTheir song “One by One” was used in AMC’s Breaking Bad Season 2 episode “4 Days Out” and also appears on the series’ official soundtrack.

SUMMARY:Moondoggy
DESCRIPTION:Moondoggy is an alternative rock band formed in 2019 in Collingwood\, Ontario. The band began playing together locally\, performing house parties and small shows while developing their live set and recording material independently. \nIn 2020\, Moondoggy relocated to Toronto. The move placed the band within a larger live music circuit\, where they began playing regularly at DIY spaces and established venues. Over the next several years\, the band focused on writing\, recording\, and releasing music while building an audience through consistent live performances. The band consists of members Jakob Matanowitsch (vocals\, guitar)\, Ben Matanowitsch (saxophone\, acoustic guitar)\, Jonny Contini (lead guitar)\, Victor Carrillo (drums). \nIn 2023\, Moondoggy released their debut full-length album\, Mad & Noisy. The album marked the band’s first major release and reached an international audience\, accumulating over 14 million streams worldwide. \nThe band followed with a second full-length album\, continuing a steady release schedule and expanding their recorded catalogue. Across their first two records\, Moondoggy developed a consistent working rhythm centered on collaboration and output rather than long gaps between releases. \nIn 2026\, Moondoggy undertakes their first-ever tours\, with dates across the United States and Europe in support of their third album\, Around The Fire. The album and tours represent the band’s first live appearances outside of Canada and mark a transition into international touring activity.
