Join William Wallace in his action drumming workshop where you can learn basic beats and rhythms or freestyle jam and find the collective beat.
Developed in Chicago, by none other than William Wallace himself, Action Drumming is a movement based style of drumming that uses the structure of the rhythms as a means to move or jump from drum to drum. Mnemonic based beats, polyrhythms and odd time signatures are all part of this unique drumming style. Played on handmade industrial drum sculptures on wheels that allow for different group configurations.
These workshops begin with drumming technique, rhythm development and learning beats and movements to be able to freeflow with each other. By the end of the session you’ll be “Jammin’ as one’!
