Who’s Behind The Mischief

The People

Bill WallaceBill Wallace

An artistic wizard who spent over 30 years conjuring sculptural musical instruments. With a BFA from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and an MFA from the Art Institute of Chicago, he built a reputation in Chicago with MASS, crafting funky drum sculptures and radically innovative longstring instruments, and even a choreographed drumming style called “Action Drumming” using 12 colossal wheeled drums he designed and fabricated himself. In Vancouver, he fabricated new instruments and sculptures for his band SWARM, spreading invented-instrument theatre across North America for 15 years. He later led the Squamish Sound Mill Society, and his artistic fingerprints were part of the original spirit behind Trickster’s Hideout.

Liesl PetersenLiesl Petersen

A vibrant force propelling Squamish’s art and music scene, drawing inspiration from the landscapes around her and translating it into murals and studio work since ’97. Beyond indoor and outdoor murals, Liesl thrives on collaboration — and her lead vocals and instrumental talents shine in local groups like The Sea to Sky Big Band, Bluesberry Jam showband, and Little City Big Sound. Trickster’s Hideout sits at the heart of her creative universe.

Allen EdwardsAllen Edwards

An entrepreneur, speaker, and author who founded HiQ Networking, HiQ Internet, Eureka Process and MSP Hire. Most of his business experience is in IT, with a heavy focus on process. He speaks regularly on entrepreneurship and leadership, and hopes those lessons benefit Trickster’s Hideout. Off the clock: scuba, skiing, and mountain biking with his wife — and running and video games without her.
