Community Movie Night: The Mummy (1999, PG-13)
For one night only, the Squamish Adventure Inn will “wrap up” Tricksters and turn it into a spooky movie theatre.
Bring your mummified friends/family for a chill, slightly spooky evening. We’ll have popcorn popping all night, drinks at the bar, and a cozy, decorated space.
When: 7:00PM – end of film
Tickets: $15 (includes popcorn)
Snacks & Drinks: Freshly popped popcorn, drinks at the bar. BYO blanket and dinner optional (yes – that’s right you can bring tupperware or pizzas into the venue).
Theme & Costume Contest: Mummy dress-up encouraged! Dust off that bandage-inspired outfit (or bedsheets) or get creative with any spooky costume. Prizes for the best costumes include Steamworks swag, stickers, gift cards, event tickets, and of course, bragging rights.
Community Give-Back:
Bring a non-perishable food item for the Food Bank if you feel so inclined.
About the Film: At an archaeological dig in the ancient city of Hamunaptra, an American serving in the French Foreign Legion accidentally awakens a mummy who begins to wreak havoc as he searches for the reincarnation of his long-lost love. Rated PG-13.
