Ian Van der Wee
Halifax-based singer-songwriter Ian Van der Wee brings an unparalleled blend of dynamic live performance and unassuming lyrical strength. Known for their ability to shift effortlessly from powerful cries to gentle invitations, Ian offers a journey through the full depth of their experiences. Over the past two years, Ian has completed two independently managed cross-country tours and released a series of soaring and intimate singles. Currently, they are working on an ambitious dual-album project, producing two sets of recordings of the same songs with wildly different arrangements. Prepare to be moved by Ian’s tender and evocative storytelling.
Long Call
Long Call is the alt-folk/indie rock sibling duo comprised of Avalon and Landen Moore. This queer ex-therapist and relatively tall ex-farmer have been making waves in the music scene since their debut live show in the spring of 2022. Performing to growing audiences in bars, backyards, living rooms, and theatres across the country and their home base of Halifax, Long Call is set to release their debut album, “Everything Will Be Alright,” song by song. Accompanying their musical release is a self-produced visual album, showcasing their artistry in a unique and compelling way. Their third national tour is scheduled for spring/summer 2024, making this an act you don’t want to miss.
