The Long & Short is an evening of true and personal stories. Each month is centered around a theme. We invite ordinary people to share their stories with an audience. At the Long & Short, a storyteller is anyone with a story to tell.

September’s theme is: the Kindness of Strangers…Maybe it’s the old man who let you sleep on his shoulder for an entire 36-hour bus ride or the family that took pity on you when you were stranded in the rain. It’s stories of unsuspecting friendships formed when sharing your last Cliff bar and the new discoveries you made by allowing yourself to trust a stranger.

DOORS: 6PM

SHOW: 7PM

This event is by donation—pay what you can. We don’t check tickets, so if you’d like to donate, you’re welcome to do so. If you cannot contribute financially, you’re still welcome with open arms, no questions asked. Let’s share this experience together.
