Featuring Ola Dada and Nash Park! Doors 7PM, Show 8PM Named one of "10 comics to watch" by Variety Magazine, Ottawa-born comedian, host, and actor, Jon Dore is renowned for his offbeat humour and unique bait-and-switch style. Winner of the 2023 Juno Award for Best Comedy Album, Dore is a favourite on the comedy club and festival circuit in Canada and the United States, enjoying sold-out runs at the Just For Laughs Festival's in Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, as well as festivals in Halifax, Winnipeg, Portland, and the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. Jon’s television credits include guest starring role on CBS' Emmy Award winning hit series, How I Met Your Mother, a lead role on ABC’s How to Live With Your Parents, and he currently stars in Amazon’s The Lake. He’s had multiple guest appearances on Conan, Baroness Von Sketch Show, @Midnight, Inside Amy Schumer and Hart of Dixie. His film credits include Corpse Tub, the indie films Gus, Stag, Teen Lust, and The Pickle Recipe. Dore hosted four seasons of HBO Canada's Funny as Hell, starred in his own award-winning 'mockumentary' series The Jon Dore Television Show on IFC and The Comedy Network, and has starred in the stand-up specials Comedy Central Presents...Jon Dore, Big Questions Huge Answers, Live At Gotham, and The Bonnaroo Experience and Mash Up. Currently, he can be seen as the host of The Stand Up Show with Jon Dore for Just For Laughs which airs on CTV Comedy.

Squamish's longest-running stand-up night, The Big Fat Comedy Show, is back, baby! This month, we're delighted to have one of Vancouver's best comics, actor and producer, Allanah Brittany (JFL Originals, Apple TV, CBC's New Wave of Comedy), in the headlining spot! The producer and host of the hit show, Vancouver Special, Allanah describes her style as observational filtered through her "anxiety disordered brain with a narrative pizzaz. Observ-anxious storytelling!" In the feature spot, we have Vancouver's Kevin Appleby (Crumby Comedy, Comedy Underground, Yuk Yuks). Kev performed at our very first Big Fat Comedy Show back in 2023, and has been a Squamish crowd favourite ever since! That's on top of a killer lineup of funny folks from across Squamish and the Lower Mainland kicking things off. Sponsored by Steamworks Brewing, there'll be dope prize giveaways, and bitchin' drink deals from the good people at Trickster's. NEW START TIME: Show at 8pm; doors at 7pm. General admission: $20. Trickster's Hideout is Squamish's beloved arts hub, located at 38005 Cleveland Avenue downtown. Entrance around back in the alley, cuz we're shifty like that.
