About your host, Sex Educator Alysha:
Alysha is a queer Sexual Health Educator based in Vancouver, BC. She believes that education is a tool for empowerment and is on a mission to make sex ed more accessible and enjoyable. Alysha teaches all aspects of sexual health in a comprehensive, inclusive, and pleasure-based way.

Let’s face it, most of us received little to no sex ed growing up, and if we did, it likely left us with a whole lot of questions. That’s why Alysha creates fun and engaging workshops—such as pleasure education, queer sex ed, and sex ed trivia nights—so adults have the opportunity to learn all the important things they might have missed out on.

Over the years, Alysha has taught in schools, youth organizations, and has hosted many events and workshops for adults. She has a strong background in youth care work and adopts a strength-based, trauma-informed approach to sexual health and relationship education.

About your performer, Medow Phorical:

This queer performer may have grown up on an island, but now she’s East Van’s most cunning linguist. There’s nothing this member of the Cliterati loves as much as finding a nice, thick hardcover and working through it dog-earred style. With a Master’s Degree in Shaking What her Mama Gave Her, she’s a firm believer in the 3 Rs: Reading, Writing, and RAUNCH.
