Bomb Comedy Presents: The Big Fat Comedy Show with Shanda Leer

Squamish’s longest-running stand-up night, The Big Fat Comedy Show, is back to kick off 2025 with a bang!
This month, we’re delighted to have The Established, Shanda Leer in the headline spot. Comedian, singer, and dancer, Shanda is a treasured Vancouver drag legend seen on film, CBC Gem, JFL Vancouver, and most recently, voted second best comedian in The Georgia Straight’s Best of Vancouver 2024.
In the feature spot is Mike Greenwood (SiriusXM, Winnipeg Comedy Festival). High-energy and self-deprecating, Mike has an instantly likable presence that has brought him to stages across the country.
That’s on top of a killer lineup of funny folks from across Squamish and the Lower Mainland kicking things off.
Sponsored by Steamworks Brewing, there’ll be dope prize giveaways, and bitchin’ food and drink deals from the good people at Trickster’s.

Trickster’s Hideout is Squamish’s beloved arts hub, located at 38005 Cleveland Avenue downtown. Entrance around back in the alley, cuz we’re shifty like that.
